I spent years in someone else’s spotlight—moving countries, starting over, smiling through pressure, and staying quiet when the media got it wrong. I juggled newborn feedings and game-day logistics, holding it all together while quietly wondering if I’d ever have something of my own.
From the outside, it looked like a dream. But inside, I felt myself disappearing—grateful, yes, but aching for more.
